MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION PROCESS:
An applicant
shall attend a meeting where they will complete an application. It
will be read to the membership at this meeting. Membership dues
are paid at this time, although they will not be deposited until the
applicant has been voted in.
The applicant will
attend a second meeting where the application will be read a second time
and the members at the meeting will vote on the applicant becoming a
member or not. The applicant's second meeting should be within 6
months of the first meeting.
Meetings are held at
the AOTC Training
Building the SECOND Tuesday of EACH MONTH unless otherwise noted.
CURRENT Members: you
can join our listserv to share information on upcoming trials, classes,
etc.

A.O.T.C. MISSION STATEMENT:

Educate the public on the care and training of dogs
for the betterment of the quality of canine lives in our community.

Promote the sports of obedience and agility for
purposes of fair competition for all involved and the safety of
competitive dogs.

The Amarillo Obedience Training Club
is composed of dog lovers and trainers from all walks of life. The
club is recognized by The American Kennel Club ... AKC.
As a service organization to the community,
our members strive to educate persons of all ages about dog care and
training.
Although AKC is a purebred dog
organization, A.O.T.C. offers classes to dogs of pure and mixed breed
origin.
A.O.T.C. is also a social organization, a
place for people with a common interest to meet, share information and
have fun with their favorite pet.
